About Me
Supporting your healing journey — with knowledge, care, and heart.
Hi! I’m Amanda, the creator of Mindful Milestones Bodywork. I’m a licensed occupational therapist with extensive training and experience in feeding and oral motor skills, development, and sensory integration. I’ve worked in pediatrics as an OT since 2017 — and since 2023, I’ve been practicing Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) using the Gillespie Approach, with training in both the foundations and infant classes.
My story — and why this work means so much to me.
I’ve always had a passion for helping people — especially children — navigate the world around them with more ease, confidence, and connection. But this work took on an even deeper meaning after becoming a mom.
When my son was born, he had severe oral restrictions and plagiocephaly. Bodywork helped correct his head shape (without a helmet), eased his discomfort, and allowed us to have a pain-free, successful nursing journey after many stressful days of not knowing if we would be successful.
The heart behind my practice
Whether you’re here for your baby, your child, or yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you. I love helping people feel better, move better, and navigate life with a more regulated nervous system and less fascial tension. My approach is always calm, non-judgmental, and tailored to you.
How I work
My sessions are guided by both science and intuition — blending my OT background with hands-on bodywork that listens deeply to the body’s signals. I take time to get to know your story, observe your or your child’s needs, and create a care experience that feels safe, empowering, and aligned.
